HomeAbout usServicesPediatric InjuryCase Evaluation

BioInjury’s Case Screening services involves a quick and thorough review of all of the available facts to evaluate the injuries, understand the occupant kinematics and determine the mechanism of injuries in motor vehicle collisions.  We can produce a verbal or written report of our findings that would include the following:

·         Case and Vehicle Facts
·         Injuries:  Soft Tissue, Skeletal, Internal
·         Vehicle Inspection Notes and Photographs
·         Overview of Vehicle Kinematics
·         Overview of Occupant Kinematics
·         Mechanisms of Injury

Initial information will be reviewed and analyzed to determine the case facts, the general vehicle dynamics and each of the specific injuries sustained by the victim.  Initial Information includes the following:  Crash Report; Witness Statements; EMS reports; First Responder statements; Scene Photos; Vehicle Photos; Full medical records of the victim(s):  ER notes, Operative notes, Radiology Reports, Radiographs, Nurse Notes and Discharge Summary; Photos of Injuries; Clothing of the Victim; Autopsy Report; Autopsy Photos; Medical Examiner report. Once the initial information above has been reviewed and all of the Injuries have been identified, a Vehicle Inspection will be conducted to aid in understanding the Vehicle Kinematics and to look for evidence corresponding to the injuries of the victim.  Following the vehicle inspection, an overview of the Occupant Kinematics and the Mechanisms of Injury will be provided.
